  • Back from week in Cornwall. No news, email, internet or twitter & only 2 brief work interruptions. Back to work now thought :( #
  • Insurance inspection today. The guy has no clue. If we were required to do/record/monitor everything he wants, I'd vote to shut it. #
  • Don't have the turnover or the margin in this trading environment to justify the overhead they want to dump on the factory. #
  • @SallyFairyAnn Yes, they took along a barrister & basically bullied the council by threatening appeals right up to high court if refused. #
  • Our Production Director would like to throw this insurance inspector through a window. He can't, we don't have a risk assessment for it! #
  • @SallyFairyAnn I wasn't involved in the Lichfield case, the local residents campaigned against it. My info is from the local paper. #
  • @SallyFairyAnn There is lots of argument about how to calculate the primary business – Petrol station or convenience store? #
  • @SallyFairyAnn Apparently they used profit calculations rather than turnover to say it was a shop which sold petrol not vise-versa. #
  • @SallyFairyAnn Ultimately though the High Court has ruled that the licensing committee makes that judgement. http://t.co/AgPzmPW5 #
  • @SallyFairyAnn Yes, committees will be afraid of the costs to the taxpayer of defending a refusal at magistrates court & poss high court. #
  • Just changed a Samsung toner. Opened front of m/c and display read "Door Open. Close It". These machines get ruder by the day! #
  • WBA FC just sent an email to a defunct email account here. It allows me to access/update full personal details for the person… #
  • …. including name, address, DOB, home and mobile numbers. Very secure! #
  • Quoted £2.2m of very specific equipment to Ghana. but must pay advance "registration fee" of £550 in order to be allowed to tender. Hmmm… #
  • Checking the network of email addresses and websites, definitely has a whiff of scam about it. #
  • Having some fun with our Ghana scammer. He has now agreed to pay the £550 fee on our behalf. I wonder what fee will need paying next? #
  • Spent last night trying to persuade iTunes 10.5 to install on friends PC. 10.4 works fine but insists on update, 10.5 won't even install. #
  • @LichfieldLive Is there a commenting problem on the site? Comments don't seem to work at all. #
  • I must be very popular. According to my emails I'm getting lots of free gifts in the post, but they seems to be delivery problems ;) #
  • My poor spelling on twitter never ceases to amaze me. #
  • Man sets fire to flat trying to turn his own faeces into gold with an electric heater. Yes, your read that right….http://bit.ly/pwIdri #
  • Consumer confidence falls again. Really? Nothing to do with a doom-obsessed media by any chance? http://t.co/kypgfUbl #
  • TSA agents in USA checking trucks on highway. "Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR)". Macho enough name? http://t.co/oQVnS4Af #
  • Just had lunch at Chetwynd Arms, Longdon. Nice place & good food. #
